GES 2024 RECRUITMENT PORTAL FOR TEACHERS 

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to employ a great number of qualified teachers in the education sector as part of fulfilling their mandate in the 2023/2024 academic year.

The 2024 GES Recruitment portal for teachers will be accessible to all qualified teachers before the end of the first quarter of 2024.

GES will issue a notice that will specify the batch of qualified teachers they are inviting applications from to be considered for employment. Either qualified trained Diploma/Degree teachers.

GES: Recruitment Terms & Conditions

To be recruitment by the employer, GES, there are some terms and conditions you must go by first.

Below are the terms and conditions:

1. You MUST PASS all the courses you sat for back in college/university.

2. You MUST PASS all the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) papers you sat for.

3. The mandatory one-year national service is essential. You MUST complete the service to the nation as the law states.

4. BE WELL-PREPARED for transforming lives at any part of the country GES will post you to work.

  2. WASSCE certificate
  3. BECE certificate
  4. National Service Certificate
  5. Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination certificate (GTLE) – Certified NTC GTLE License
  6. Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Education Certificate 

GES Posting: How to Check GES Posting

First of all, you have to:

Purchase Voucher Card: How To Purchase GES Recruitment E-Voucher

The employer, GES will direct all applicants to pay an amount of money for e-voucher (GH¢ 10.00) via Mobile Money

  1. After payment, kindly go to the GES Promotion Portal here 👉🏿 https://gespromotions.gov. and proceed.
  2. Next, locate and click on Buy e-Voucher Card.
  3. Continue by filling in the asked details and confirm the payment on your smart device.
  4. The next move is to proceed to the Posting Login Page. There, you have to enter your Index Number and the voucher code you received via your smart device.
  5. To end the process/at the end of the process, click “Submit” to download your appointment letter. You are done!

GES Posting: How To Check GES place/school posted to

  1. Kindly click this link >>GES promotions portal and proceed.
  2. Choose CoE Appointment
  3. Next step: Key in your Index Number.
  4. Key in your eVoucher (the one you purchased).
  5. Click submit to print your appointment letter

GES Posting: Required Documents Needed At The Regional Education Office

You (the newly posted teacher) have to submit some relevant documents to the Regional Education Office in the Revion you have been posted to.

The needed documents:

  1. CoE /or University Certificate.
  2. National Service Certificate.
  3. GTLE certificate (NTC GTLE License).
  4. Any valid ID Card (carry any along. The needed card will be communicated there).
  5. SSNIT Biometric.
  6. Birth Certificate
  7. You bank account details (for take home).
